Um… Hey Mr. Hit & Run Driver. You left your calling card!

A client just called to inform me that she had been in a car accident.  A vehicle pulled out of a parking lot and made a U-turn into oncoming traffic striking the right rear wheel her car.  The other driver kept on going so she was a victim of a hit and run.  She called the police then got out of her car to wait for the officer to arrive.  Lo and behold, there was the other drivers license plate sitting in the middle of the road…Ha Ha.. When the police officer arrived she just handed him the license plate and said here’s the guy’s plate who hit my car!! Talk about leaving a calling card!! Now he’ll not only have an at fault accident on his record but also a ticket for hit and run!!  Glad I’m not his insurance agent!!
