Bernard E. Pedersen & Associates, Inc. Insurance Agency has been doing business in Palatine Illinois since 1952. We are licensed to do business in Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Georgia & Louisiana.
The agency was founded in 1952 by the late Bernard E. Pedersen who was also State Representative in district 54 for 14 years.
In 1994 his son, Edwin B. Pedersen, purchased the agency making it a second generation enterprise. He is the current President of the company. With over 30 years of insurance experience, Ed specializes in sales and has an extensive understanding of coverage applications. Ed is an 8 year Award Of Excellence agent and a member of the H.K. Susan Pedersen is his wife and partner. She is the Vice President of the corporation. Susan first joined the agency in 1984 and has 25 years of experience primarily in customer service, billing and claims. She heads the accounting department and also provides software management and technical support.
In 2004 the agency welcomed Bernard E. Pedersen II, expanding our operation into the third generation. Bernie specializes in computer technology and equipment maintenance as well as offering a broad range of customer services. Many customers find his knowledge of cars and engines valuable when shopping for vehicles or while negotiating claims settlements.
